Different Perspective

In the quiet morning, as I raise my hands up for the first sun salute, I wonder how this is important after what had happened last Friday. Makes you see the bigger picture – the small knee injury last October really is a tiny blip compared with the unimaginable losses suffered in Japan.

As the practice went on, so I guess the world goes on. We do the best we can with what we have. We make progress and there are always the wipeouts that threaten to make or break us. But, invariably, the human spirit will take what there is and make the best of it.

My practice ended. I took my shower and got dressed for work. It’s Monday.
